Moises V. Fuertes, 85, of the 1300 block of Independence Blvd., died March 3, 1995 at Sentara Bayside Hospital.
Mr. Fuertes was a native of Peru.
Survivors include one son, Cesar Fuertes of Virginia Beach; six daughters, Elba Fuertes of Virginia Beach, Emerita Kuser of Harleysville, Penn.; Iris Solis of Lima, Peru, Delia Mendiola of Lima, Peru, Gloria Gamboa of Lima, Peru, Ava Rodrigues of Lima, Peru; one sister, Busebia Teran; two brothers, Juan Fuertes and Manuel Fuertes; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Catholic Church.
