Carl Joseph Misiak, 59, of Route 1, Box 176, a retired electrician, died March 4, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mr. Misiak was born in Ohio. He was a Roman Catholic. He was a member of American Legion Post 60, Norfolk; The Eagles; and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 80.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Augustine Misiak, formerly of Norfolk and currently of Moyock, N.C.; a daughter, Mary Anne M. Wall of Chesapeake; a son, James Joseph Misiak of Moyock, N. C.; a sister, Angie M. Tomcho of Strongsville, Ohio; two brothers, Joseph Misiak and Tony Misiak, both of Cleveland, Ohio; a stepbrother Pete Kolecky of Lakewood, Ohio; two grandchildren, Shannon M. Wall and Brandon M. Wall, both of Chesapeake; his father-in-law, James Augustine Sr. of Norfolk; two brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James P. Augustine Jr. of Norfolk and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony M. Augustine of Newport News; and many nieces and nephews.
A chapel service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 1995 in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel, by Father John J. Dorgan. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery Norfolk. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. The family will be at 610 Grantham Road, Norfolk, 23505.
