William Henry Price Sr., 62, of the 800 block of W. 41st Street, died Friday, March 3, 1995, in DePaul Medical Center.
Mr. Price was born in Norfolk and was the son of the late Herman Sr. and Lucy Price. He was a truck driver for over 45 years with 25 years at Roadway Express. He was a member of Garden of Prayer Temple Church of God in Christ. He was a devoted member of the Church and was the developer of the bus ministry.
Survivors include his wife, Evangelist Lealtha G. Price of the home; two daughters, Rev. Jacquelyn P. Cousins of Virginia Beach and Beverly D. Price of Norfolk; two sons, William H. Price Jr. of Triangle, Va., and Randolph E. Price of Norfolk; one brother, Herman Price Jr. of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, March 8, 1995, at noon by the Bishop Levi E. Willis Sr. in Garden of Prayer Temple, 812 Washington St., Portsmouth. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Riddick Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
