Jeanette Custis Hornsby, 93, died March 4, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Hornsby was born in Craddockville, Va. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles R. Hornsby Sr. and her parents, Thomas Custis and Mary Nock Custis. She was a member of Ferebee-Halstead United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Miller of Chesapeake; two sons, Charles R. Hornsby Jr. of Virginia Beach and James T. Hornsby of Chesapeake; two brothers, Winston J. Custis of Belle Haven, Va. and Ralph B. Custis of Chesapeake; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Doughty Funeral Home by Lt's. Glenn and Theresa Riggs. Burial will be in Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Belle Haven United Methodist Church, Belle Haven, Va. 23306.
