MERRILL Y. DUGGER

Merrill Yancey Dugger, 72, of the 400 block of 34th Street, died March 4, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mr. Dugger was born in Ashland, Va., and was a retired broker for William E. Wood Co. He was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church. He was a retired Major and fighter pilot with the U.S. Air Force and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Walton Dugger; one daughter, Judith Dugger Taylor of Hampton; one son, Claude J. Allard of Carove Beach, N.C.; one sister, Ann McIntosh of Kingstree, S.C.; and three grandchildren, Lauren Taylor and Ian Taylor of Hampton and Rick Allard of Richmond.

The funeral will be conducted Tuesday, March 7, 1995, at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Paul C. Bailey in Virginia Beach United Methodist Church. Burial will be Tuesday in Westview Cemetery, Farmville, Va., at 3 p.m. Family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach United Methodist Church or to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad.
