KEEP `FANCY DUDS'

I enjoy Larry Maddry's columns, but I did not agree with ``Hoops coaches need to slam dunk those fancy duds'' (Daily Break, Feb. 27). Let the coaches keep on the ties and sports jackets; it's nice to see males so dressed.

We have seen too much of sloppy dress in recent years, especially with pants below the waist, almost falling off.

Someone needs to set an example; and with so many sports fans nowadays, leave the coaches be.

We can do without the spitting and crotch-grabbing, I agree; but we can thank Roseanne for making everyone more aware of these bad habits.
