Cecil Graham Creech Sr., 69, of the 900 block of Stewart St., a retired iron worker, died March 5, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Creech was born in Johnson County, N.C., and was retired from Barnam & Brawns Iron Workers. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served in Iwo Jima.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene B. Creech; two daughters, Deborah Jean Hoffman and Linda Darlene Dozier, both of Virginia Beach; two sons, Cecil Graham Creech Jr. of Columbus, Ga., and Cecil Wade Creech of Chesapeake; a sister, Joyce Woodard of Chesapeake; three brothers, Melvin L. Creech of Macon, Ga., Wallace Ray Creech of Fairfax, Va., and Donald M. Creech of Dover, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, by the Rev. Ernest Edward Onley. The family will be at 912 Stewart St., Chesapeake. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
