Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Porter; son, Terry Porter; and two daughters, Patsy Porter and Sharon Boring, all of Virginia Beach.
Funeral services were held in Jacksonville, Fla., on Feb. 18, 1995. Altmeyer Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
