Bernice S. Fulford, 83, of the 6100 block of Tidewater Drive, a retired librarian, died March 6, 1995, in a North Carolina hospital.
Mrs. Fulford, a native of Norfolk, was a librarian for the Norfolk Newspapers for 15 years. She was the widow of Charles P. Fulford Sr., and a former member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Norfolk. Mrs. Fulford was a volunteer for Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Ruppert McIntyre of Jacksonville, N.C.; a son, Charles P. Fulford Jr. of Arlington, Va.; her mother, Mrs. Belle Stewart; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Lou Ruoff. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. today. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
