Ernest Lyons Jr., 73, of the 900 block of Levee Court, a retired brakeman, died March 4, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Lyons was retired from Norfolk & Western Railroad after 28 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Garrett; grandchildren, Larry Lyons and Nicole Garrett; and son-in-law, Earnest Garrett, all of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at noon today in Hale Funeral Home by Bishop Clarence H. Branch Jr. Burial will be in Hampton National Cemetery.
