EMMA I. OWENS

Emma Inez Owens, of the 2700 block of Myrtle Ave., died March 3, 1995, in Norfolk Community Hospital.

Mrs. Owens was born in Norfolk County and was the widow of Clyde Owens. She was a retired domestic engineer after numerous years and a member of Union United Church of Christ.

Survivors include one daughter, Lillian Boffman of Norfolk; one son, George Moore of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three sisters, Eula Walls, Sylvia Moore, and Dorothy Edge, all of Norfolk; two brothers, Charles W. Moore and Lenus Moore, both of Norfolk; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted Saturday, March 11, 1995, at noon by the Rev. Anthony Taylor in Union United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive guests at 2817 Earlscourt Ave., Norfolk, Va. The processional to the church will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday. Hale Funeral Home in charge.
