Jesse S. Schiller, 78, of the 400 block of Beck St., a retired police officer, died March 4, 1995 in Orlando, Fla.
Mr. Schiller was born in Bainbridge, Ohio. He retired from the city of Norfolk after 31 years and was a member of the Police Association and D.A.V. Chapter (NU)4. He was a U.S. Marine veteran, 1st Marine Division in the South Pacific, World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Ann R. Schiller; a sister, Esther Beard, and a brother, Carl Schiller, both of Columbus, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Cale of Norfolk; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
