Pernell B. ``P.B.'' Allen of the 1000 block of Avenue G, a retired merchant seaman, died March 7, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Allen was born in Michigan and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Eva C. Allen; two daughters, Audrey Allen of Washington, D.C., and Bernice E. Baker of San Diego, Calif.; a son, Melvin Ruffin of New York; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Allen.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Metropolitan Funeral Service by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter. Burial will be in Jones Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Family and friends will assemble at 1007 Avenue G, Norfolk, at noon Saturday for the funeral processional to the funeral home.
