CHARLES V. PENNINGTON

Charles V. Pennington, 67, of the 1000 block of N. George Washington Highway, a retired truck mechanic, died March 7, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.

He was a native of Tennessee and served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include two daughters, Lois Ann Dunlow and Barbara Patterson, both of Chesapeake; three sisters, Velma Henderson of Toledo, Ohio, Geraldine Harrell of Waynesville, N.C., and Alta Vromac of Williamsburg, Va.; and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. John Smith and the Rev. G.F. Dalton. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
