Clarence L. Sharp, 59, of the 1100 block of Fontana Ave., died March 7, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Sharp was born in Albemarle County, Va. He was former owner of C. Sharp Optical Inc., on Laskin Road, Virginia Beach; a volunteer worker during the Oyster Roast for the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad and was a U.S. Naval veteran of Korea.
Survivors include his wife, Betty C. Sharp; a daughter and son-in-law, Cyndie S. and Michael Perry of Virginia Beach; a son, Jeffrey S. Sharp of Chesapeake; three sisters, Victoria S. Parr of Charlottesville, Va., and Pansy S. Mawyer and Charlotte S. Morris, both of Earlysville, Va.; a brother, Billy E. Sharp of Virginia Beach; and two grandchildren, Lauren and Joshua Perry. He was predeceased by a sister, Frances S. Carrel.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Thomas Rupp. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
