Michael David McLawhorn, 33, a mechanic, died March 7, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. McLawhorn was born in Portsmouth and attended Grove Park Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Louise McLawhorn; two daughters, Stephanie L. McLawhorn of Chesapeake and Brandy L. VanOrden of North Augusta, S.C.; two sons, David K. McLawhorn of the Deep Creek section of Chesapeake and Christopher G. VanOrden of North Augusta; his mother, Marian G. McLawhorn of Chesapeake; two sisters, Valerie I. Eastman of Chesapeake and Kimberly R. Rorvik of Bremerton, Wash.; three brothers, Gary W. McLawhorn of Choteau, Mont., and Glenn S. Smith and Jay Smith, both of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by Pastor Rex Frost. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
