Sallie Mae Futrell, 84, of the 3400 block of MacDonald Road, died March 8, 1995, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Futrell was born in Hertford, N.C., and was the widow of Elijah Futrell. She was a member of Centerville Christian Fellowship, Chesapeake.
Survivors include a daughter, Doris F. Tyndall of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, John L. Wallace and his wife, Annie, of Virginia Beach. She was predeceased by two daughters and two sons.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Centerville Christian Fellowship by the Rev. Timothy Lambert and the Rev. Weston E. Taylor Jr. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at the home of her son-in-law, 3404 MacDonald Road, Virginia Beach, at all other times.
