James Lee ``Jimmie'' Olds of the 6500 block of Pasteur Court, a retired merchant seaman, died March 8, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Olds was born in Edenton, N.C., and was retired from the National Maritime Union. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Fannie B. Olds; a son, Michael H. Olds of Norfolk; his father, Penrose Rogers of Edenton, N.C.; grandchildren, Kimberly Olds and Michael Olds Jr. of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 12, in Metropolitan Funeral Service Chapel by the Rev. Elisha Horton. Burial will be at noon Tuesday, March 14, in Hampton National Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 6535 Pasteur Court on Sunday at 1 p.m. for the processional to the funeral chapel.
