Sister Eva R. Warren, 61, of the 36000 block of Broadwater Road, Ivor, Va., 23866, a retired teachers aide, died March 9, 1995, in Southampton hospital.
Mrs. Warren was born in Southampton County, Va. She retired from the Suffolk school system in 1987 after 11 years. She was a member of St. Paul Holiness Church, Sedley, Va.; president of the southern District Missionary Band; president of St. Paul Church Missionary Band; church clerk; adult Sunday School teacher for many years; and a member of the church choir and Manry Community Savings Club.
Survivors include her husband, Deacon John T. Warren; a daughter, Dorothy E. Hamlin of Richmond, Va.; five sons, John E. Warren and Brian K. Warren, both of Chesapeake, Steve A. Warren of Suffolk, Va., Jesse R. Warren of Ivor and Gary O. Warren of Franklin, Va.; three sisters, Barbara Martin of Brooklyn, N.Y., Lorene Ricks of Courtland, Va., and Mattie Stokes of Suffolk, Va.; brothers, Vernett Robertson, Jr., John Pedro Robertson, Nelson Robertson all of Boykins, Va.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three aunts; three uncles and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at General Assembly Church, Oak Street, Franklin, Va., by Elder Andrew Warren. Burial will be in St. Paul Holiness Church Cemetery, Sedley.
