MARGARET T. AYERS

Margaret Turpin Ayers, a homemaker, died March 11, 1995 in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Ayers was a native of Bedford County, a member of Larchmont Baptist Church, Norfolk, and a graduate of Radford College.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Ayers; two sons, Jay T. Ayers of Lake Ridge and Glenn E. Ayers of Richmond; a sister, Carolyn T. Camden of Richmond; grandchildren, Melissa Amy Ayers and Kathryn Rebecca Ayers, both of Lake Ridge; aunts, Lucille H. Witt of Bedford, and Elizabeth H. Turpin of Big Island; and uncles, Martin B. Hatcher of Spring City, Tenn., and S. Ray Hatcher of Afton. She was predeceased by her parents, Lillian (Hatcher) Turpin and Harry Turpin and a sister, Harriet T. Cooper.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Larchmont Baptist Church by the Rev. John Cramer Dean in Norfolk. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Cemetery, Bedford. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Larchmont Baptist Church, 1127 Surrey Crescent, Norfolk. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 2 to 4 p.m. today.
