Geraldine Willis White, 78, of the 4900 block of Briarwood Lane, died March 11, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. White was born in Smithfield, Va. She was retired as owner of the Village School in Churchland and was self-employed. She was a member of Westhaven Baptist Church, Portsmouth, and the widow of Lawrence A. White.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia W. Beachum of Suffolk and Sheila W. Smith of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and Robert Silling of Smithfield, Va. She was predeceased by her parents, James Worthy Willis and Hattie Batten Willis.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. W. Thomas Wood. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. today. Donations may be sent to Westhaven Baptist Church memorial fund.
