A gunman walked into the Tropics Club II in the 1000 block of Brambleton Ave. and opened fire with a semi-automatic handgun about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Norfolk Police spokesman Larry Hill.
Wounded in the shooting were: Anderson E. DonMartin Jr., 21 and Linville Anderson, 27, both Jamaican men from New York; and Junior Simms, 29, from Hampton. Authorities believed all three men were staying in the Hampton-Newport News area. Each suffered bullet wounds to the buttocks and side. All were in stable condition at Norfolk Sentara Hospital.
The gunman is described as a black male. Police have not identified a motive. Anyone with information is asked to call Norfolk Crime Line at 441-5100.
