Charles Parnell, 64, of the 100 block of Cottonwood Lane, a retired mechanic, died March 12, 1995, in Norfolk.
Mr. Parnell was born in Wayne County, N.C., and was retired from Jayen Tile Co. He was an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Pearline Walters Parnell; a daughter, Arlene P. Bowling of Kinston, N.C.; a son, Mark Charles Parnell of Chesapeake; his stepmother, Katie Parnell of Kenly, N.C.; a sister, Roxie Young of Denver, Pa.; five half sisters, Linda Killette, Judy Lane, Barbara Killette and Kathy Glover, all of Kenly, and Margaret Paulson of Sacramento, Calif.; a brother, Earl Parnell of Taylors, S.C.; three half brothers, Donnie, Allen and Robin Parnell, all of Kenly; and a grandson.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Wayne Sawyer. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
