Frances Dann Hartman died Tuesday, March 14, 1995, in Mary Immaculate Hospital.
A native of Elmira, N.Y., she was a Tidewater resident for 44 years. Mrs. Hartman retired from General Electric as a line supervisor in 1979 after 10 years of service. Previously, she worked as a registered nurse for various hospitals and home care units. She attended Phillippi Christian Church, Deltaville, Va. She was a member of Eastern Star, New York Chapter for 50 years, and a member of Pocahontas Lodge in Deltaville.
She is survived by two daughters, Merbeth Dann Winfree of Newport News and Georgia Alzada Watson of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; three sons, Millard E. Dann of Ruther Glen, Va., Don F. Dann of Leesburg and Harry G. Hartman of Virginia Beach; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Peninsula Funeral Home. Services and interment will be handled by Van Buskirk Lynch Funeral Home in Horseheads, N.Y.
