Emory Eugene Bolton Sr., 64, of the 8200 block of Canterbury Crest Lane, died March 12, 1995, in Suffolk.
Mr. Bolton was a native of Knob Noster, Mo. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 23 years and also retired as sales manager for Bill Lewis Chevrolet and Hampton Chevrolet. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Suffolk, Masonic Lodge in Glenview, Ill., and served on the Suffolk Airport Commission.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley R. Bolton; two daughters, Linda R. Schwab of Christiansburg, Va., and Tilley Floyd of Pilot, Va.; a son, Emory E. Bolton Jr. of Wilmington, Del.; two sisters, Ruby Hall of Sunrise Beach, Mo., and Betty Williams of Otterville, Mo.; two brothers, Stanley Bolton of Friendship, Wis., and Larry Bolton of Knob Noster, Mo.; and four grandchildren, Angela and Amelia Schwab, Carrie and Jeffrey Floyd.
A funeral will be conducted at 2p.m. Thursday in Ebenezer United Methodist Church by the Rev. Carl Lemon. Entombment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church Building Fund.
