Carolyn L. Brown of the 1100 block of Godfrey Ave., died March 11, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Brown was born in Norfolk, daughter of the late Evelyn Parks and James L. Madison.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin K. Brown; three daughters, Timekia Madison, Shantell Madison and Lisa Madison, all of Norfolk; two sons, Cordarol Madison and Melvin Brown III, both of Norfolk; four sisters, Joyce Madison, Charlene Madison, Brenda McElveen, all of Norfolk, and Darlene Williams of Kileen, Texas; two brothers, Alfred Madison of Virginia Beach and Carnell Madison of Norfolk; and a granddaughter, Nakresha Madison of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Linda Lawson. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
