George Emanuel Bear, 82, of the 8400 block of Benningfield Ct., died Mar. 13, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
He was retired from Tidewater Steel Co. and was Baptist. He was predeceased by a brother, Harry Newman Bear.
Survivors include two sisters, Florence McNamara of Norfolk and Jeannette B. Carty of Norfolk; five nephews and two nieces.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. John F. Carty, a nephew of the deceased. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, Thursday from 3 to 4 p.m.
