Ruth Williams Farleigh, 78, of the 1100 block of Nansemond Parkway, died March 14, 1995, in Obici Hospital.
Mrs. Farleigh was born in Nida, W.Va., and was the widow of Williard Farleigh. She was a homemaker and retired Avon representative.
Survivors include a daughter, Raenel G. Forsythe of Suffolk; a sister, Carrie Johnson of Pittsburgh, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ronald Gainer, and daughter, Mary G. Brinkley.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. B.E. Jones. Entombment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and other times at the home of Raenel Forsythe, 247 Chestnut St., Suffolk.
