T. SHELTON MORGAN

Thomas Shelton Morgan, 77, of P.O. Box 65, Winfall, died Monday afternoon, March 13, 1995, in Chowan Hospital SNF.

A native of Perquimans County, he was the son of the late Thomas Edward Morgan and Eula West Morgan. He retired after 40 years as owner/operator of Winfall Service Station and was an Army veteran of World War II. He attended Berea Church of Christ, was a member and past master of Perquimans Masonic Lodge (NU)106, the Scottish Rite Consistory, Sudan Shrine Temple and American Legion Post (NU)126.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Leonard Morgan; four sons, Thomas L. ``Skip'' Morgan of Monroe, Conn., Don B. Morgan of Washington, D.C., Steve K. Morgan of Newport and Tim E. Morgan of Charlotte; two sisters, Eula Mae Jordan and Louise Nixon, both of Hertford; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Martin K. Morgan.

Graveside services will be held today at 3 p.m. in Cedar Wood Cemetery with Swindell Funeral Home in charge. Donations may be made to Perquimans County Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
