Marie Richard Fluker died Monday, March 13, 1995. The former Marie Louise Richard was born in Salisbury, N.C. She was a graduate of the Women's College of the University of North Carolina, and until her marriage to William E. Fluker, taught in Norfolk City Schools. Mr. Fluker died in 1974.
Mrs. Fluker was a lifetime member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church. She was formerly active in the University of North Carolina Alumni Association. She was predeceased by a son, William E. Fluker Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn F. Drumwright of Virginia Beach and Frances F. Anderson of Severna Park, Md.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday, March 16, 1995 at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Robert Eugene Hobson in Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel in charge.
