Police arrested a Norfolk man Monday in the slaying of Dennis P. Bascom, who was found fatally shot in his station wagon March 2.
Gerald Gilliam, 21, of the 800 block of Denison Ave. was charged with murder and use of a firearm, police reported.
Bascom, 32, of the 1400 block of Kingston Ave. was found by police and rescue personnel in the 800 block of Denison Ave. after the station wagon he was driving crashed into a parked car. He died at a hospital. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
