Thomas W. Moss Jr., the 66-year-old speaker of the State House of Delegates, was hospitalized Monday after falling on a Norfolk street.
Gail Nardi, a spokeswoman for the Democratic headquarters in Richmond, said Moss suffered a back injury and was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. X-rays showed no broken bones. He was listed in stable condition and was expected to be released today.
