Wanona E. Wheeler, 92, of the 2700 block of Vimy Ridge Ave., a homemaker, died March 13, 1995, in DePaul Medical Center.
She was born in Virginia Beach and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
Survivors include her husband, Mangus H. Wheeler Jr. of the home; two daughters, Irene Black of North Carolina and Shirley Johnson of Illinois; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Mount Horeb Cemetery, Handsom, Va., by the Rev. David Dillon of Rock Church in Franklin. The family will receive friends at Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall, Kempsville Chapel, from 6 to 8 pm. today.
