Retired Navy Chief Bernard Willis pinned a Good Conduct Medal on his
son, First Class Petty Officer Martin Willis, 30, Tuesday morning
during ceremonies held on the Willis' lawn on Edinburgh Drive. This
was the third Good Conduct Medal earned by Martin Willis, a
boilerman, who has been in the Navy 12 years and is stationed aboard
the carrier America. When Bernard Willis retired from the Navy,
his retirement ceremony was held on the lawn of his home in New York
state.
