William Edward Lucas III, 69, of the 4200 block of Hatton Point Lane, died March 15, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Lucas, a native of Fort Benning, Ga., was the son of William E. Lucas Jr. and Suzanna Provost Lucas. He was retired from the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant and was a Catholic.
Survivors include a half-sister, Sandra King of Matador, Texas; and four nephews of California.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, in Arlington National Cemetery. Friends will gather at Foster Funeral Home Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. Please omit flowers. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
