Walter Vernon Angell Jr., 73, of the 1900 block of London Bridge Road, died March 15, 1995, after a long illness.
Mr. Angell was a native of Norfolk, Va. He retired from the Naval Air Rework Facility, Air Station, Norfolk after 35 years' service. He was a member of the London Bridge Baptist Church and Choir.
Survivors include his sister, Jacqueline ``Jackie'' A. Fentress of Virginia Beach; one niece, Patricia F. Dickie of Dallas, Texas; and one nephew, Lawrence V. Fentress of Virginia Beach.
A funeral service will be conducted Monday, March 20, 1995, at the London Bridge Baptist Church at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Tommy J. Taylor. Entombment will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. Friends may join the family Sunday, March 19, 1995, at the Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Ave. Chapel from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the London Bridge Baptist Church, 2460 Potters Road, Virginia Beach, Building Fund, or the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad, Inc., Virginia Beach, Va. 23451.
