Franklin Claudis Turner died Wed. Mar. 15, 1995, in Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, N.J. He worked as a car salesman for Precision Cars of Atlantic City, N.J. He was a graduate of B.T.W.H.S. and N.C. A&T State University, did graduate studies at U. of Pittsburgh in Pa. He was born in Norfolk and reared in St. John AME Church, Norfolk, Va. He lived in the Atlantic City area since 1979.
He is survived by his wife Katherine Mosley-Turner of Absecon, N.J.; 3 brothers, Dr. Phillip Turner and A. Kirby Turner of Va. Beach, Va., Martin Turner of Norfolk, Va.; 2 sisters Janette Lowery of Va. Beach, Va. and Sylvia Patterson of Richmond, Va.; 4 aunts; 1 uncle and a host of cousins and relatives.
Funeral services, Mon. March 20, 1995, 12:00 noon, St. John AME Church, Norfolk, Va., Rev. I.W. Knight officiating. Burial family plot Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home in charge of services. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home Mon. 11:00 AM for the procession to the church.
