Helen Lucas Charlton, 80, of the 700 block of Oak Grove Road, died Sunday, March 19, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Charlton was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a Sunday School teacher for a number of years. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a sister, Erma Karsko of Columbus, Ohio; and six nieces and nephews.
A service will be held in the chapel of Twiford Funeral Home, Great Bridge, at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. George Pollack officiating. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
