FRANK D. ROGERS

Frank D. Rogers, 71, of the first block of Pebble Point Court, a retired Mail Handler, died Mar. 20, 1995, in Sentara Nursing Home.

He was a native of Manhattan, N.Y., and was a member of First Baptist Church South Portsmouth. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie E. Rogers; three daughters, Connie Vinson of Bronx, N.Y., Janice Bellamy of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Jeanette Johnson of San Diego, Calif.; three sons, Ronald Bellamy and Wayne Bellamy, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Martin Bellamy of San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Audrey Mack of Bronx, N.Y.; one brother, Ernest Rogers of Hackensack, N.J.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church South Portsmouth, by the Rev. Warren E. Amlet. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, with Military Honors. Viewing will be at Corprew Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Thursday. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Friday.
