Ann Genevieve Wood Nicholson, 73, also a resident of Dixon Road, Suffolk, died Mar. 21, 1995, in her Grandy home.
She was a native of Columbia, N.C., and was the wife of Walter L. Nicholson. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, and Order of the Eastern Star, Victory Chapter (NU)16.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Frank E. Wood Jr. of Suffolk; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her son, James Dennis Wood.
The graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Lloyd M. Weaver. The family will be at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel, Suffolk, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
