Charles H. Joiner Sr., of the 2700 block of Monrovia Dr., died Mar. 17, 1995, in his home.
He was a native of Salem, Va., and had retired from Wilson Trucking Co. as a truck driver after 25 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy H. Joiner; three daughters, Patricia K. Jones of Suffolk, Alice J. Adams of Las Vegas, Nev., and Lisa D. Joiner of Norfolk; one son, Charles H. Joiner Jr. of Norfolk; one brother, Raymond Joiner; six grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Parthenia Joiner and Ethel Joiner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
