Carrie Belle Jones, 58, of the 2900 block of Cape Henry Ave., died March 23, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Jones was born in Tarboro, N.C., daughter of the late Daisy J. and Claude Dickens. She was a dietician at Maury High School in the Norfolk School System for 25 years.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest L. Jones Sr.; two daughters, Sarah L. Dickens of Tarboro and Cynthia L. Jones of Norfolk; a stepdaughter, Linda Gray Savage; four sons, Wilbert Dickens of Virginia Beach and Ernest L. Jones Jr., Milton Jones and Dennis Ray Jones, all of Norfolk; a sister, Emma Lee Little of Norfolk; three brothers, Claude Dickens, Jesse Dickens, both of Connecticut, and Willie Dickens of Tarboro; 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three daughters-in-law, Cynthia L. Dickens, Debrah Jones and Barbara D. Jones.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will assemble at her residence.
