Sarah Snowden Floyd, 81, a homemaker, died March 27, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Floyd was born in Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Floyd and a daughter, Nancy Sanders. She was a member of Norview Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon F. Graham of Chesapeake; two sons, Philip A. Floyd of Virginia Beach and Charles C. Floyd of Norfolk; four sisters, Catherine Fitchett of Norfolk, Mabel Rollason of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., Ann Laney of Summerville, S.C, and Lucy Perry of King George, Va.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Charles L. Moseley. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of one's choice.
