Jack Daniel Cornett, 73, of Lake of the Woods, died Monday, March 27, 1995, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
Mr. Cornett was retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons and had served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Surviving are his children, Carol Louise Hauser of Annandale, Penny Kathleen Cornett of Alexandria, Patricia Kaye Harris of Locust Grove, Charles Daniel Cornett of Atlanta and Jack Leon Cornett of Kimball, S.D.; his mother, Martha J. Cornett and a sister, Melba Crank, both of Lynchburg; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service and interment will take place at 9 a.m. Friday in Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Pet Assistance League of Stafford, Box 1076, Stafford Va. 22555. Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service is in charge.
