Mary Melvin Lambert, 87, of the 5500 block of Lakewood Drive, died March 29, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Lambert was born in Elizabethtown, N.C., and was the widow of Repp H. Lambert. She was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church in Norfolk; member and past president of Lakewood Garden Club; member of Edgewater Garden Club and the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club.
Survivors include her son, R. Larry Lambert of Norfolk; and her four grandchildren, Mary Kay Anderson, Kelly Paton Lambert, R. Larry Lambert Jr. and Repp H. Lambert; and two great-granddaughters, Mary Ashley Anderson and Lauren McRae Lambert.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. Francis E. Collins. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
