Kenneth Payson Garmon, 69, died March 28, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Garmon was born in Henderson County, N.C., and was retired from civil service. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alice H. Garmon; three daughters, Donna Germano of Virginia Beach, Cynthia Wheatley of Centerville, Ohio, and Karen Gleason of Sylva, N.C.; two sons, Terry Garmon and Randall Garmon, both of Chesapeake; a sister, Ruth Price of Chesapeake; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Chaplain Kenneth A. Askew and the Rev. William F. Mahon. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
