Doughtie's Foods Inc., the Portsmouth-based food processing and distribution firm, made $364,100, or 36 cents per share, in 1994, up from $275,100, or 27 cents per share, in 1993. Sales rose to $73.4 million from $70.8 million. Doughtie's specialty meats sell in 30 states. It makes and distributes a full line of institutional foods in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and North Carolina.
