HATTIE MAE WOOD

Hattie Mae Wood, 76, of Lens Ave., died April 1, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Wood was born in Norfolk and was the widow of Robert T. Wood. She was a retired waitress after 32 years of service for the Virginian Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Gladys B. Lloyd of Virginia Beach and Bonnie M. Mason of Owensboro, Kentucky; one son, William Halstead Bland Jr. of South Mills, N.C.; two sisters, Daisy Lee Maney of Norfolk and Gladys Janis of Philadelphia, Pa.; two brothers, Marshall Maney and Charles Maney, both of Norfolk; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, April 5, 1995, at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
