DONALD L. HARVEY
Donald L. Harvey, front, principal of Virginia Beach Middle School,
and his wife, Rebecca, returned Monday from a Caribbean vacation to
find he'd been selected as Virginia Beach Principal of the Year.
Among those greeting the Harveys at Norfolk International Airport on
Monday was seventh-grader Adriane Edwards, getting a hug from
Harvey. She was one of the students who recommended him to the
selection committee. Also on hand was Virginia Beach Mayor Meyera E.
Oberndorf, clapping.
