AFTER 20 YEARS of success with the ``Virginia Hospitality'' cookbook, the Junior League of Hampton Roads is introducing ``Very Virginia.''
The new book contains more than 400 tested recipes, as well as cooking tips and quick-cooking and children's sections.
Along with the host of recipes from Junior League members are several from Smithfield Foods for the company's new Lean Generation Pork. The pork won't be in supermarket meat cases until later this year, making ``Very Virginia'' slightly ahead of its time.
The book also includes some notes from the Williamsburg Winery for selecting the right wine.
Since 1975, ``Virginia Hospitality'' has raised more than $600,000 for the group's community service projects. The Junior League hopes ``Very Virginia'' will do as well when it hits the shelves next week. The cookbook costs $17.95. MEMO: MORE MORSELS ON PAGE F8
